Description
Product name |
ATPγS, Synonyms: Adenosine-5'-(3-thio)-triphosphate tetralithium salt, Adenosine-5'-(3-thiotriphosphate) |
Product description |
Adenosine-5'-(3-thio)-triphosphate (ATPγS) is used as a non-hydrolyzable analogue of ATP, to study energy storage and metabolism in vitro. Proteins like actin and myosin have a functional ATPase activity, where ATPγS is used to keep the ATPase constutively active. |
