| Product name |
ATPγS, Synonyms: Adenosine-5'-(3-thio)-triphosphate (tetralithium salt), Adenosine-5'-(3-thiotriphosphate) |
| Product description |
Adenosine-5'-(3-thio)-triphosphate (ATPγS) is used as a non-hydrolyzable analogue of ATP to study ATP-dependent processes in vitro. Proteins such as actin and myosin have functional ATPase activity; ATPγS is used to maintain ATP-binding states without rapid turnover by ATP hydrolysis. |
| Overview |
Suited to supplement all buffers and solutions buffered at ~pH 7.4. |
