Applications

PlexPure® Donkey Anti-Goat IgG (H+L) ATTO390 is an antigen-affinity-purified fluorescent secondary antibody for selective detection of goat primary antibodies in immunofluorescence, multiplex fluorescence imaging and related fluorescence-based assays. Following antigen-specific affinity purification using goat IgG, the antibody is ultra cross-adsorbed against purified immunoglobulins from ten non-target mammalian species: donkey, human, mouse, Syrian hamster, horse, rabbit, rat, guinea pig, bovine and sheep IgG, together with chicken IgY. This defined PlexPure® purification strategy is designed to reduce non-target species reactivity in complex multiplex antibody panels. ATTO390 has an absorption maximum at 390 nm and a fluorescence maximum at 476 nm, corresponding to a large Stokes shift of 86 nm. Its pronounced separation between absorption and fluorescence maxima can support spectral discrimination in multicolor fluorescence experiments using appropriately configured UV/violet excitation sources and emission filters. PlexPure® Donkey Anti-Goat IgG (H+L) ATTO390 is antigen-specific; affinity purification removes essentially all donkey serum proteins, including immunoglobulins not specifically binding to goat IgG. Following conjugation to ATTO390, the antibody is further purified by size-exclusion chromatography to remove unbound dye and low-molecular-weight reaction components. The conjugate is supplied without preservatives. |
