Description
Product name
Donkey Anti-Goat IgG (H+L) ATTO550 | DXG ATTO550
Target species
Goat
Description
ATTO-labeled secondary antibodies combine high fluorescence intensity with strong photostability and reliable performance in fluorescence-based immunodetection. Donkey Anti-Goat IgG (H+L) ATTO550 specifically detects goat primary antibodies and is suitable for widefield, confocal and TIRF microscopy, flow cytometry, single-molecule detection and high-resolution fluorescence imaging.
ATTO550 has an absorption maximum at 554 nm and a fluorescence maximum at 576 nm, producing orange fluorescence. The conjugate can be excited with 532 nm and 561 nm laser lines, with 561 nm providing closer spectral matching to the absorption maximum. Strong absorption, a high fluorescence quantum yield and pronounced photostability support sensitive detection, repeated scanning and prolonged image acquisition. ATTO550 is particularly well suited to single-molecule and high-resolution microscopy because of its low triplet-state formation and resistance to photobleaching.
Donkey Anti-Goat IgG (H+L) ATTO550 is antigen-specific; affinity purification removes essentially all donkey serum proteins, including immunoglobulins not specifically binding to goat IgG. Following conjugation to ATTO550, the antibody is further purified by gel filtration to remove unbound dye and support low-background, reproducible fluorescence staining. The product is supplied without preservatives.

Purification notes
Affinity purification removed donkey serum proteins and immunoglobulins not specifically binding to goat IgG. Following conjugation to ATTO550, the antibody was further purified by gel filtration to remove unconjugated dye and low-molecular-weight reaction components.
Hypermol® secondary antibodies are highly specific and purified to remove unbound dye, minimizing background signal.
Storage instructions
Store as glycerol stock at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Shipping conditions
Shipped at ambient temperature.
