PlexPure® Donkey Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) ATTO390 is an antigen-affinity-purified fluorescent secondary antibody for selective detection of mouse primary antibodies in immunofluorescence, multiplex fluorescence imaging and related fluorescence-based assays. Following antigen-specific affinity purification using mouse IgG, the antibody is ultra cross-adsorbed against purified immunoglobulins from ten non-target mammalian species: donkey, human, Syrian hamster, horse, goat, rabbit, rat, guinea pig, bovine and sheep IgG, together with chicken IgY. This defined PlexPure® purification strategy is designed to reduce non-target species reactivity in complex multiplex antibody panels. ATTO390 has an absorption maximum at 390 nm and a fluorescence maximum at 476 nm. Its large Stokes shift of 86 nm provides pronounced spectral separation between excitation and emission and can facilitate spectral discrimination in multicolor experiments when appropriate excitation sources and filter sets are used. PlexPure® Donkey Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) ATTO390 is antigen-specific; affinity purification removes essentially all donkey serum proteins, including immunoglobulins not specifically binding to mouse IgG. Following conjugation to ATTO390, the antibody is further purified by size-exclusion chromatography to remove unbound dye and low-molecular-weight reaction components. The conjugate is supplied without preservatives or protein additives such as BSA. |
