ATTO-labeled secondary antibodies combine high fluorescence intensity with strong photostability and reliable performance in fluorescence-based immunodetection. Donkey Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) ATTO430LS specifically detects mouse primary antibodies and is suitable for widefield and confocal immunofluorescence microscopy as well as related fluorescence-based applications.
ATTO430LS has an absorption maximum at 436 nm and a fluorescence maximum at 545 nm. Its exceptionally large Stokes shift of 109 nm provides pronounced spectral separation between excitation and emission, reduces excitation-light bleed-through into the detection channel and supports multiplex fluorescence experiments requiring clearly separated spectral windows. Appropriate excitation sources and emission filter sets are required for optimal detection.
Donkey Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) ATTO430LS is antigen-specific; affinity purification removes essentially all donkey serum proteins, including immunoglobulins not specifically binding to mouse IgG. Following conjugation to ATTO430LS, the antibody is further purified by size-exclusion chromatography to remove unbound dye and low-molecular-weight reaction components. The conjugate is supplied without preservatives or protein additives such as BSA.
