PlexPure® Donkey Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) ATTO565 is an antigen-affinity-purified fluorescent secondary antibody for selective detection of mouse primary antibodies in immunofluorescence, multiplex fluorescence imaging and related fluorescence-based assays. Following antigen-specific affinity purification using mouse IgG, the antibody is ultra cross-adsorbed against purified immunoglobulins from ten non-target mammalian species: donkey, human, Syrian hamster, horse, goat, rabbit, rat, guinea pig, bovine and sheep IgG, together with chicken IgY. This defined PlexPure® purification strategy is designed to reduce non-target species reactivity in complex multiplex antibody panels. ATTO565 has an absorption maximum at 563 nm and a fluorescence maximum at 592 nm, corresponding to a Stokes shift of 29 nm. The conjugate is efficiently excited within the 545–575 nm spectral range and is well matched to the widely available 561 nm laser line. Its strong fluorescence output and high photostability support sensitive detection, repeated scanning and prolonged image acquisition in conventional, single-molecule and super-resolution fluorescence microscopy. PlexPure® Donkey Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) ATTO565 is antigen-specific; affinity purification removes essentially all donkey serum proteins, including immunoglobulins not specifically binding to mouse IgG. Following conjugation to ATTO565, the antibody is further purified by size-exclusion chromatography to remove unbound dye and low-molecular-weight reaction components. The conjugate is supplied without preservatives or protein additives such as BSA. |
