Description
FluoProtect is a high efficient antifading mounting medium for fluorescence microscopy with 24h drying time at RT or 7h at 37°C. The water-based mounting medium is suited for all types of fluorescene microscopy and is compatible with all known fluorescent dyes.
It is an aqueous mountant with an additional antifading reagent, which strongly reduces photobleaching.
The fluorescence will remain for many weeks if specimen are stored dark. In contrast to many mounting media FluoProtect does not show autofluorescence at any common wavelength.
Storage
The solution should be stored at +4 °C in the dark and has a shelf life under these consitions of 1 year minimum.
