PlexPure® Goat Anti-Guinea Pig IgG (H+L) ATTO390 is an antigen-affinity-purified fluorescent secondary antibody for selective detection of guinea pig primary antibodies in immunofluorescence, multiplex fluorescence imaging and related fluorescence-based assays. Following antigen-specific affinity purification using guinea pig IgG, the antibody is ultra cross-adsorbed against purified immunoglobulins from ten non-target mammalian species: donkey, human, mouse, Syrian hamster, horse, goat, rabbit, rat, bovine and sheep IgG, together with chicken IgY. This defined PlexPure® purification strategy is designed to reduce non-target species reactivity in complex multiplex antibody panels. ATTO390 has an absorption maximum at 390 nm and a fluorescence maximum at 479 nm, corresponding to a Stokes shift of 89 nm. Its UV/violet-excitable spectral profile provides fluorescence detection in a wavelength range distinct from commonly used green, orange-red and far-red fluorophores and can therefore support appropriately configured multiplex fluorescence experiments. PlexPure® Goat Anti-Guinea Pig IgG (H+L) ATTO390 is antigen-specific; affinity purification removes essentially all goat serum proteins, including immunoglobulins not specifically binding to guinea pig IgG. Following conjugation to ATTO390, the antibody is further purified by size-exclusion chromatography to remove unbound dye and low-molecular-weight reaction components. The conjugate is supplied without preservatives or protein additives such as BSA. |
