Triallkit description
|
The most common use of actin is to analyze and characterize binding of ligands to F-actin. This is also especially useful for the characterization of recombinant proteins and fragments. The Trialkit manual describes how to make F-actin and how to perform functional tests to verify of the biological activity of actin binding proteins. Since a specific binding to actin filaments indicates the correct folding and structural integrity of the actin binding protein itself, the assays provided with this Trialkit are a valuable tool.
The Trialkit is available with 2x0.5mg rabbit skeletal muscle actin (Cat. # T8010-01) or bovine cardiac actin (Cat. # T8100-01). Buffers are included to maintain the biological activity of actin, and a Trialkit Manual introducing to the use of actin. We guarantee a stable performance of the kit components when stored at -70°C upon arrival for 6 months..
