Applications
High ionic-strength buffer to maintain myosin II in a soluble state and to solubilize myosin II from filamentous assemblies. DTT and ATP are included as separate components for fresh supplementation prior to use.

| Variant 1 | Supplement MotorMix II with 2 mM DTT. Fresh addition of DTT is recommended to prevent oxidation of myosin SH-groups. |
| Variant 2 | Initiate the myosin ATPase by adding ATP (e.g., 1 mM final). ATP can be added either to the MotorMix II/DTT solution or mixed with the protein in MotorMix II/DTT. |
