Applications
Physiological buffer for myosin II thick filaments and for converting myosin II solutions into filamentous assemblies. Suitable for work with myosin S1 and heavy meromyosin (HMM). DTT and ATP are included for fresh supplementation prior to use.

| Variant 1 | Supplement MotorMix I with 2 mM DTT. Fresh addition of DTT is recommended to prevent oxidation of myosin SH-groups. |
| Variant 2 | Initiate myosin ATPase activity by adding ATP (e.g., 1 mM final). ATP can be added to the MotorMix I/DTT solution or mixed with the protein in MotorMix I/DTT. |
