Protein description

Actin from rabbit skeletal muscle is a single chain polypeptide with a molecular weight of 42kD consisting of 375 amino acids. ATTO488-Actin is chemically modified G-actin with an ATTO488 fluorescent group covalently bound to lysine residues.  ATTO488-Actin (λex 501nm, λem 523nm) possesses the polymerization properties of native G-actin. 

Conjugation ratio

This product is supplied with a degree of labelling (DOL) between 0.5 and 0.8. The precise DOL is stated in the DataSheet supplied with the product.

ATTO-Actins are stored at –70°C upon arrival and will be stable in performance for at least 6 months from the date of purchase. Solubilized ATTO-Actin is kept on ice and should be used within 1 week. Avoid refreezing.
