Protein description
Biotin-Actin from cardiac muscle is chemically modified α-actin by esterification of lysine residues with biotin. The advantage of Biotin-Actin from Hypermol is, that it is equipped with a ~20 Å spacer, which renders the Biotin group to be readily available for antibody detection in all suitable techniques (ELISA, Western Blotting etc.)..
Conjugation ratio
The degree of labelling (DOL) of Biotin-Actin is approx. 1.
