Description
ATP-SucroseCushions are used to prevent non-specific cosedimentation of proteins, which were not bound to F-actin in high-speed centrifugation assays (100.000xg). Sucrose-Cushions clearly separate the F-actin-ligand fraction in the pellet from unbound ligands, localized in the supernatant.
