Description
|
ATTO-labelled secondary antibodies belong to the new generation of fluorescent antibodies characterized by their exceptional fluorescence intensity and superior photostability. Rabbit Anti-Sheep IgG ATTO390 (H+L) is an antigen-specific antibody. Affinity purification essentially removed all rabbit serum proteins, including immunoglobulins not specifically binding to sheep IgG
Rabbit Anti-Sheep IgG ATTO390 is conjugated to ATTO390 showing a relatively long stokes shift of 86nm (λex 390nm | λem 476nm), finally purified by SEC. The antibody is suitable for a wide range of applications, including live cell techniques, as it is free from preservatives and protein additives such as BSA.
Rabbit Anti-Sheep IgG ATTO390 (H+L) is supplied in unit sizes of 1.0 mg as a lyophilized powder, shipped at room temperature. For convenient reconstitution, a glycerol buffer is provided. This enables re-freezing of the antibody at -20°C after use to maintain quality and allows for the preparation of aliquots, which can also be stored at -20°C for sequential use.

Purification notes
|
Affinity purification effectively removed all rabbit serum proteins, including immunoglobulins not specifically binding to sheep IgG. After conjugation to the dye the antibody was further purified by gel filtration, resulting in a highly pure and specific antibody.
Hypermol® secondary antibodies are highly specific and purified to remove unbound dye, minimizing background signal.
