CS-LB is a Lysis buffer to lyse cultured cells to specifically prepare cytoskeletal components. This includes soluble cytoskeleton fractions and also the insoluble, filamentous actin cytoskeleton. The buffer can be used solitary in assays of choice, but also in combination with many Actin-Toolkits (G-actin binding, ELISA etc.) to maximize the analytical applications of the kits. 

CS-LB is a novel, complete and ready-to-use buffer with protease inhibitors included, specifically made for actin based assays and other cytoskeleton research areas. The product contains 10 single portions, so that you can rely on the identical quality for every plate you treat with CS-LB. Furthermore the protease inhibitors included are of freshest quality achievable  and thus of highest activity.

Reconstitute each portion before use only and do not refreeze CS-LB in solution.

The volume of final Cytoskeleton LysisBuffer needed, depends on several parameters: 1. cell number, 2. expression of target protein and 3. degree of phosphorylation.  We recommend to start with 10⁸ cells per ml of CS-LB. ​

Storage instructions

CS-LB is stored at -70°C upon arrival. After reconstititution, Aliquots are stored at -70°C, where the buffer will be stable in performance for at 6 months from the date of purchase. Avoid refreezing.
