The Actin-Toolkit Microinjection was developed to inject fluorescent actin into cultured cells. This allows rapid vizualization of fluorescent actins incorporated into the cellular cytoskeleton. Co-localization studies of e.g. transfected actin binding proteins is a frequent use of this method.
