| Toolkit description |
The Actin-Toolkit Electron Microscopy is designed for transmission electron microscopy of negatively stained actin specimens. It supports structural analysis of ligand interactions with monomeric actin and with filamentous actin structures such as individual filaments, bundles and networks. The toolkit contains native rabbit skeletal muscle α-actin together with buffers for maintaining G-actin or F-actin conditions during specimen preparation. SpreadingSolution and 0.2 µm centrifuge minifilters are included for preparation of EM specimens. A dedicated handbook describes the experimental setup and specimen-preparation workflow for electron microscopic analysis of actin. |
