Adenosine 5-triphosphate (ATP) is a central component of energy storage and metabolism in vitro. The stock solution is used to study proteins like actin and myosin, which have a functional ATPase activity, activated by ATP.

2x 100mM ATP, 5.0mM Tris-Cl, pH 7.4 (sterile filtered before freeze-drying). To prepare a fresh 100 mM stock solution, accurately weigh 1.0 g of ultrapure H2O, equivalent to 1.0 ml.

Storage instructions

ATP is stored at –20°C upon arrival. The product will be stable in performance for at least 1 year from the date of purchase. Solubilized ATP can be aliquoted and stored at -70°C for use within 3 months. Thawed aliquots should be used within 1 week. Avoid refreezing.
