Protein description

Actin from rnon-miscle sources are a mixture of β/γ non-muscle actins. These isoforms are  single chain polypeptides with a molecular weight of 42kD consisting of 374 amino acids. ATTO514-Actin is chemically modified G-actin with an ATTO514 fluorescent group covalently bound to lysine residues. ATTO514-Actin (λex 511nm, λem 533nm) possesses the polymerization properties of native G-actin.

This product is supplied with a degree of labelling (DOL) between 0.5 and 0.8. The precise DOL is stated in the DataSheet supplied with the product.

Buffer

2mM Tris-Cl pH 8.2, 1mM ATP, 0.5mM DTT, 0.1mM CaCl2, 1mM NaN3 and 0.3% disaccharides, when reconstituted with 100 µl ultrapure water to obtain a 1mg/ml solution.

ATTO514-Actin is stored at –70°C upon arrival and will be stable in performance for at least 6 months from the date of purchase. Solubilized ATTO-Actin is kept on ice and should be used within 1 week. Avoid refreezing.
