Protein description

Actin from non-muscle sources is a mixture of β/γ non-muscle actin isoforms. Both isoforms are single chain polypeptides with a molecular weight of 42kD consisting of 375 amino acids. ATTO594-Actin is chemically modified G-actin with an ATTO594 fluorescent group covalently bound to lysine residues. ATTO594-Actin (λex 601nm, λem 627nm) possesses the polymerization properties of native G-actin.

This product is supplied with a degree of labelling (DOL) of ~0.3 and is thus ready-to-use for TIRFM and other high- or super-resolution imaging techniques.
