Applications
Highly suitable for immunofluorescence (IF), super-resolution microscopy (STORM, PALM), and multiplex staining procedures. Compatible with sensitive detection systems. Reduces background fluorescence and non-specific binding.
With 250 ml of working solution, you can typically:
- Block over 5,000 microscopy spots on glass slides (50 µl/spot)
- Treat more than 800 coverslips (18 mm Ø, 300 µl)
- Block up to 25 full 96-well plates (100 µl/well)
This solution is optimized for high-sensitivity immunofluorescence. It effectively reduces non-specific binding and background fluorescence — even in demanding super-resolution applications.

Description |
HY-ImmunoBlock is a 5× polymer-based blocking buffer optimized for high-sensitivity immunofluorescence techniques. It contains synthetic, serum-free polymers such as PVA and PVP for effective background reduction.
The buffer minimizes non-specific antibody interactions and is suitable for use with a wide variety of primary and secondary antibody systems. It is compatible with fluorophores and does not autofluoresce.
