| Product description | ATTO550-Actin is chemically modified rabbit skeletal G-actin carrying covalently attached ATTO550 fluorescent groups on lysine residues. The protein is prepared from alpha-skeletal actin isolated from rabbit skeletal muscle. Skeletal muscle actin is a single-chain polypeptide of approximately 42 kDa consisting of 375 amino acids. ATTO550-Actin is designed for fluorescence-based actin assays, epifluorescence microscopy, high-resolution microscopy and super-resolution microscopy, providing a defined fluorescent signal while retaining the polymerization properties required for actin-based biochemical workflows. |
