Description
Product name
ATP, Synonyms: Adenosine 5′-triphosphate, ATP disodium salt
Product description
Adenosine 5′-triphosphate (ATP) is a central component of energy storage and metabolism in vivo. Proteins like actin and myosin have a functional ATPase activity.
ATP 100mM is pre-adjusted to pH 7.1 upon the addition of 1ml ultrapure water. Addition of the ATP solution thus keeps the pH of the solution stable and does not rapidly decrease the pH as pure ATP powder does. Hence the additional adjustment of the buffer pH is not necessary.
